This in that

The vacuum cleaner still smelled burning after it cooled off so I took it to Stuart yesterday. The best thing about Stuart is the smokehouse! It’s not far from the Oreck store so we always detour. They were out of jerky so we got smoked salmon and made pasta for dinner with the salmon, olives, capers, tomatoes, mushrooms. Yum! The kids each ate thre helpings. It’s one of their favorite meals but with the home smoked salmon it’s really terrific. The lady said they’d have more jerky by Thursday so when they said the vacuum cleaner would be ready by Wed, I said take your time, lol. Thurs is fine!

Craig ended up in Denver. He got home late last night, booked a flight, packed, went to bed and was out of here early to catch his flight. He’ll be back late Fri so it’s me and the girls again. We made the best of it and had fish tonight. :)

Parent meeting for cheerleading was this afternoon. Nothing unexpected. Practice starts next week which means the girls will be doing something after school every single day. I guess we’ll squeeze homework and sleep in somewhere. I don’t like them being so booked but the dance and gymnastics go with the cheerleading and there you have 4 days! OH well. They’re excited, that’s what counts.
Went to the  podiatrist for another follow up and he’s at a loss as to why it’s not better yet.  I can’t have an mri so he’s checking on ct. I  can have one, but they’re in the same building as the mri so we need to find out about the magnets.

Are the cupcakes done yet? I’m getting tired! I’m making enough for both classes tomorrow. I won’t get the frosting done tonight and I need to make the quiche for the teacher’s lunch in the morning, so I  guess I’ll be up early. Well, I’m always up early, but not usually in th ekitchen cooking!

Went a little into my bonus points tonight. Was doing great until I pulled ou tthe cheese and crackers while dinner cooked. And the glass of wine, he he he.  1 glass of wine, 1 oz cheese and 7 lowfat triscuits are more points than lunch was! If I was smart, I’d stop buying cambozola when this hunk is gone.

  1. I wanted to take my Dyson vacuum for a cleaning. My kids used it to clean up some spill and the dust collects at the little holes where air goes through.

I just don’t know if I am ready to be vacuumless for a whole week which is how long Sears will hold it. Why can’t they do home service for vacuums anyway.
