Craig got the kids addicted to Battlestar Galactica, the old one with Dirk Benedict. You would not believe the race each night to get homework done early so they have time to watch an episode before dinner.
Well, we ran out of cookies agan and had to go get more. And ran out again. Now I’m trying to find a troop with too many rather than go to the truck again so we have enough to get through the booths we have this weekend. We have officially exceeded our goal! And Council reached its big goal for the first time since we’ve been selling, so we get a 0.09 bonus per box. May not sound like much, but it’ll come to about $200 for the girls.
I finished Dream a Little Dream and This Heart of Mine, now I’m ready for Match Me If You Can. Heath and Annabelle, yay! They’re a lot of fun.
I’m trying to get the house cleaned up before Amal gets here Sat and the vacuum cleaner overheated. I hope it works again when it cools off!
I’m thawing some ground beef to make Jan’s Taco Soup. I was going to make ahi steaks but Craig came home early. I only make fish when he’s in town if I have time to clean up the mess and smell before he gets home. So, fish tomorrow! And while the soup cooks, cambozola on triscuits, marinated olives and a glass of the sauvignon blanc I got at Silverado when we visited the winery. We’ll see how many olives I get, Miss Manda discovered them and she’s a notorious olive thief. Hopefully the episode of BG will keep her out of the waylong enough for me to get a few.
